The CTC screw conveyors are the result of the experience of Cusinato in conveying delicate and fragile products. These conveyors have been designed to reduce product damage to minimum.
The various models have a modular design with varying internal spiral diameters with a production capacity up to 80 m3/h considering a maximum crawl speed between the product and spiral of 1m/sec. As the Screw Conveyors are totally closed, there is neither dust nor production contamination, thus being also suitable for production sites classified as Atex 21 or 22 hazard of explosion.
Thanks to a 30° max inclination these conveyors are perfect for conveying special materials in limited areas and where height is a at premium.
These screw conveyors can be made either of painted, or stainless steel or if they have to be installed for outdoor use they can be of zinc plated metal. All materials used for the internal construction are food graded and can be supplied with purpose certification.
The self-lubricating supports and bearings curb the effects generated by spiral shaft bending caused by weight and thanks to their specific compact design reduce substantially the actual spiral pitch.
The intermediate discharge sliding gates are designed in the same way: sophisticated systems ensure that the path of transport remains unchanged when the sliding gate opens and when it is closed, thus eliminating any space where the product can inconveniently accumulate and maintaining continuity of the sliding plane. No moving parts are externally visible.
